Mark Thompson RFJ Message to FFAI Committee, AOH & LAOH

May 4, 2020 By Martin Galvin

In this video, (the first in a series being arranged by the National Board) Mark Thompson of Relatives for Justice, explains in a few minutes just how much our AOH and LAOH FFAI work means to those in Belfast and across the north working for justice and he also updates us on Britain’s latest cover-up.

He explains the importance of FFAI grants through the Christmas Appeal, political pressure on the British through Congressional letters and hearings, and publicizing the truth about British injustice across America.

The latest British plan on legacy killings is a gimmick to close the vast majority of almost 2,000 unsolved killings before we can get the truth about British crown or collusion killings.

Cases would be reviewed by what the British say will be an “independent body”. Only where they saw “new compelling evidence and a realistic prospect of a prosecution”, would they investigate. All other cases would be permanently blocked from any investigations.

Mark added ” the British government has once again moved the goal posts to protect those within its armed forces and those within illegal organisations they colluded with. Its ultimate aim is to prevent the truth from emerging about its role in the conflict”.

Catholic Bishops, legal scholars and the Irish government have joined in criticizing this whitewash.

We hope to have similar messages from our other FFAI grant recipients in weeks to come, explaining how each group works for freedom for all Ireland and updating us on events.
